Janie Danger is a punk rock artist from Atlanta, Georgia blending the extremes of hardcore punk and grindcore with the hypnagogic, uncanny poetics of indie, alt rock and emo. Her cheeky sense of humor, blistering live performances and poignant lyricism has led to a successful rise in the Atlanta underground.
She has amassed large followings across Twitter, Instagram, TikTok and Youtube with nearly 50k followers across all platforms and averaging 50k yearly streams on Spotify alone. She has received praise from Anthony Fantano, Chapo Trap House’s Will Menaker, Kill the Computer, iHeartMedia’s The Daily Zeitgeist and local publications such as Mainline Magazine, Art Seen Atl, Record Plug and received a nomination for Best Musical Artist at the inaugural Wussy Magazine’s Peachy Awards.
Her idiosyncratic style has led to her playing alongside a diverse array of artists including Hirs Collective, Lex Walton, Girls Rituals, and a lengthy 9 city stretch of cities opening for John Maus in 2025.
